Landscape 1
This is the first of the 'out of my mind' (probably more implied meaning behind that than I realize), paintings. I don't know where it came from, why I chose what I did in terms of color, etc., and I don't really care. This is really liberating. I think that I'll do another one.
I'm going for the "I don't really care" comment - throw those cares away and keep painting - these paintings you've posted so far are all gloriously poetic, evocative, atmospheric - they both speak and invite at the same time. You've got enough reference points stored up in your mind's eye to make a lifetime of paintings. I'm so excited to see what evolves, here. So wondrous!
